Why this policy exists
When someone opens a Converbold booking link, they’re trusting that the business is real and that their details and deposit are safe. This policy keeps it that way. It applies to every account and every booking page, and is part of our Terms of Service.
What you can’t offer on a booking page
- Anything illegal where you or your customers are, or services you don’t hold the licence or qualification required to provide.
- Sexual services, or anything involving the exploitation of anyone.
- Weapons, drugs or other regulated goods.
- Gambling, pyramid or “get rich quick” schemes, or fake investment opportunities.
- Services that don’t exist, or that you have no intention of providing, including taking deposits for appointments you won’t honour.
Be honest with your customers
- Use your real business name, and don’t pretend to be another business or person.
- Show your real prices, deposit amounts and cancellation policy, and stick to them.
- Don’t change a policy after someone has booked in a way that takes away their deposit unfairly.
- Medical, dental and therapy businesses should only collect the information they need to book the appointment. Converbold isn’t designed to store clinical records.
Messages and customer data
- Only add customers who have dealt with your business, and only send them messages about their bookings and your business.
- Don’t use Converbold to send bulk advertising, chain messages or spam, or to contact people who asked you to stop.
- Don’t import lists of people you bought, scraped or got from somewhere else.
- Keep your customers’ details private and use them only for running your business.
Don’t misuse the system
- Don’t try to get into accounts, data or parts of Converbold you don’t have permission for.
- Don’t overload it, for example with automated bookings, scrapers or bots.
- Don’t upload viruses or harmful code, or use Converbold to host files unrelated to your bookings.
- Don’t try to get around plan limits, billing or our security checks.
- Don’t resell Converbold or share one account between separate businesses.
Found a security problem? Please report it responsibly as described on our Security page. We won’t take action against good-faith research that follows those guidelines.
What happens if this policy is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may ask you to change something, remove content, pause your booking page, or suspend or close your account. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll explain what’s wrong and give you a chance to fix it first. If people are at risk, or the law requires it, we may act straight away and, where appropriate, tell the authorities or the payment provider involved.
Report a problem
If you see a booking page that breaks these rules, or think a business has treated you unfairly, email support@converbold.com with the booking link and what happened. We read every report.
