What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar feature that lets a site remember small settings on your device. This page lists every one Converbold uses.
What we use
We only use cookies and storage that Converbold needs to work, or that remember a choice you made. We don’t use advertising, tracking or social media cookies, and we don’t use analytics cookies.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Cookie, essential | Keeps you signed in to your dashboard | Until you sign out, or two weeks |
| csrftoken | Cookie, essential | Protects forms (sign-in, bookings, settings) from being submitted by other websites | One year |
| cb-theme | Local storage, preference | Remembers if you chose dark mode in the dashboard | Until you clear it |
| cb-cal | Local storage, preference | Remembers your calendar view and which staff you hid | Until you clear it |
| cb-setup-x-… | Local storage, preference | Remembers that you closed the setup checklist on the Overview page | Until you clear it |
Because these are essential or only remember your own choices, we don’t show a cookie banner. If we ever add cookies that aren’t essential, we’ll ask for your permission first and update this page.
Payment pages and other services
When you pay a deposit or a Converbold subscription, you’re taken to a payment page run by Paystack, Flutterwave or Stripe. Those pages may set their own cookies, mainly to prevent fraud. Their cookie policies apply there.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and page code from public content delivery networks. These don’t set cookies on our pages, but your browser connects to them and they can see your IP address.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block them. If you block the essential cookies, you won’t be able to sign in or book online. Clearing local storage simply resets your dashboard preferences.
